The world-famous parade of the Concorso d’Eleganza cars is held in the parkland of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Esteand is an annual event. It epitomizes one of the magic moments of automobile heritage and advanced engineering through the ages.

This Concorso d’Eleganza event is an unforgettable experience for all “petrol heads” and connoisseurs of the most aristocratic and famous motor-cars.

Dates

In 2019 some of the world’s most spectacular automobiles will go out for a spin for the first time along public roads. The tour will start off from the Hotel Villa d’Este in the morning of Thursday, 23 May. The route will run along the Lakeside and then take to the hills. Two days later on Saturday, 25 May 2019 the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este will start and this customary parade of valuable cars is loved by thousands of enthusiasts will be open to the public. This year the event title will be:-

The field of participants will again be presented in eight classes. The Selecting Committee is delighted to present the first four of them:

• Daring to Dream: Concepts Which Rocked the Motoring World
• Baby You Can Drive My Car: Singing Stars’ Cars
• Goodbye Roaring Twenties: The Class of 1929
• Speeding Against the Clock: Endurance Racing Legends

An exclusive panel of Jury members led by Jury President Lorenzo Ramaciotti will award the Best of Show prize – the BMW Group Trophy. This is conferred for an extraordinary automobile which expresses beauty, passion & uniqueness. The public will choose their favorite car by Public Referendum on the Saturday at Villa d’Este. The prize awarded for the public’s chosen vehicle is entitled “The Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este”.

Motorcyles too

Visitors to the three-day event in Cernobbio will also be able to look forward to the heritage highlights presented in the grounds of Villa Erba. One of these is the famous Concorso di Motociclette.

In 2019, the contest for historic motorcycles will once more include six motorcycle classes. The Selecting Committee is proud to present them all:

The ticket prices are subject to statutory Italian VAT (currently 22%).

Entry Ticket Villa d’Este for Saturday 25th May 2019
The Entry Ticket Villa d’Este for Saturday allows the access to the grounds of Villa d’Este from 09.30 to 17.30 on Saturday 25th May 2019. No food and beverage services are included.
On Saturday, the Historic Cars will be presented on the grounds of Villa d’Este. The event is not open for public, only for entrants, Friends of the Concorso and Entry Ticket Villa d’Este holders.
Due to the exclusivity of the event, please take into account the customary dress code “elegant or smart casual”.

Day Pass Villa Erba for Sunday 26th May 2019
With the Day Pass Villa Erba for Sunday you get access to the grounds of Villa Erba from 09.30 to 17.30 on Sunday 26th May 2019. A lunch buffet is included in the Day Pass.
The large area of Villa Erba is open for public. Public tickets can be bought on site.
